The SEOUL AGRO-FISHERIES & FOOD CORPORATION is supplying agricultural and marine products measuring 3.2 million tons yearly, which is 50% of the demands of Seoul City, by managing Garak Market, Gangseo Wholesale Market, and a Grain Market. Also, by running the Eco-Friendly Distribution Center, we are supplying healthy food for school meal service in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and special schools in Seoul.

The corporation is playing a key role in providing producers of agro-fisheries products with stable markets and supplying safe food to consumers, by operating wholesale markets, securing transparency and fairness of transactions, setting standards for agricultural and marine product prices, and testing the safety of the products.

Also, in order to respond to changing distribution environments and to consumers’ new needs, we are modernizing Garak Market. When the modernizing project is successfully finished, distribution costs will be significantly reduced, and Garak Market will be one of the major tourist attractions in Korea, where people can enjoy a variety of agro-fisheries products in season.
